About Me
My Background
I am a native Calgarian painter whose love of art began at an early age. I attended the Alberta College of Art and Design and received my B.F.A. in Drawing . I have been making art for many years and am a member of Calgary Creative Arts Guild.I have work in private collections across Canada. In Calgary my work can be found in Motion Gallery.
My Mission statement
My previous work has included a figurative period, a textile mixed media phase, charcoal portraiture, pastels, ceramics with my most recent work featuring expressionist landscapes . Strongly influenced by nature and my surroundings., I am constantly painting new subjects in my body of work searching to evolve.
My Mission statement
I love to show others; the way that paint can move, how lighting plays in a work, or how atmosphere and movement can be created. Sharing these discoveries motivates me to want to create more new works myself. I teach private art classes and do some private and corporate Art Nights events. I am available for commissions.
